The consortium
The HEALTH UP! project is managed by five dedicated partners from four European countries: Spain, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands. These diverse organizations are working together to achieve the project’s ambitious goals. Through shared expertise, innovative solutions, and a commitment to health improvement, each partner plays a vital role in delivering impactful results across Europe.
The University of Zaragoza is a public teaching and research institution. Specifically, the GENUD (Growth, Exercise, NUtrition and Development) Research Group, with over 20 professionals, specializes in nutritional assessment, epidemiology, and obesity prevention through diet and physical activity, mainly in children and adolescents. With extensive experience in European projects, the GENUD Group focuses on obesity and eating disorder prevention through research and community-based interventions.
Mediterráneo Culinary Center is a VET school based in Valencia with over 20 years of experience, specializing in Cooking, Gastronomy, Dietetics, and Nutrition. Officially recognized by the Valencian Ministry of Education, MCC offers accredited programmes from EQF levels 3 to 7, including vocational training, master’s, and postgraduate courses.
Sustainability is a key focus, with concrete actions in energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management. The centre has around 200 students – typically between 16 and 30 years old, with 20–30% coming from migrant backgrounds – and 20 staff members. As an Erasmus+ host institution, MCC also welcomes over 500 students from across Europe each year.
Lula Consulting is a team of professionals specialized in Erasmus+ Key Action 1 and 2 projects, focusing on mobility, cooperation, and innovation. Active since 2013, the team combines expertise in project management, communication, and digital development. Lula supports international partnerships, produces research and digital tools, and manages high-quality mobility and cooperation projects across Europe. It has also developed TEREO, a platform that simplifies Erasmus+ project management and enhances collaboration among partners.
