About
Health Up!
Why Health Up!
Eating disorders are a growing concern among young people, influenced by multiple factors, including mental health, nutrition, social habits, and physical activity. Early identification is crucial for prevention, as recognizing the warning signs of eating disorders at the outset enables timely intervention, reducing the risk of more severe health consequences later on.
HEALTH UP! aims to equip VET trainers and centers with the tools to recognize warning signs at an early stage, implement preventive measures, and foster healthier habits among students, encouraging prevention through early identification and structured activities.
By integrating both theoretical and practical approaches, the project empowers educators to address eating disorders effectively in the classroom and incorporate prevention strategies into everyday learning environments.

PROJECT OUTPUTS
HEALTH UP! provides concrete resources to support prevention and education:
- A comprehensive guide on eating disorders, including key information and European-level support contacts.
- Two workshop manuals: one focused on nutrition and another on mental health, social, and physical activities, with exercises for both the classroom and home.
- A dedicated app, offering dynamic and user-friendly access to learning materials and interactive activities.
These tools aim to make education on eating disorders more accessible, engaging, and impactful.
